The wet summer of 2007 has had a significant effect on many of our favourite garden bird species - many populations suffered heavy losses of their young, we need to help them recover and one of the best ways we can do is to provide good secure nesting opportunities.

The more nest boxes we put up in our landscape the more chance our birds will have to breed successfully and bring their new family into the world for next spring.

This is the first of The Thames Gateway projects to come to completion, described as the development that will set the standard for planned mass house building that is due to take place over the next decade.
